Rachel M Smith was born about February 1899 in Tennessee, United States. She was the daughter of William H Smith and Rebecca Smith.^[1]

In the 1900 US census, Rachel M Smith (age 1) was living in Chester, Tennessee, with parents William H Smith (34) and Rebecca Smith (44), and siblings Maggie (8), Harriet (7) and David (5).^[1]

Rachel Smith married Claud Jackson on 19 Nov 1916 in Claiborne, Tennessee.^[2]

In the 1940 US census, Rachel Jackson (age 40) was living in Briceton, Paulding Township, Ohio, with husband Claude Jackson (54), and children Irene (18), William (16), Mary (12), Ruby (10), Thomas (8), Berta (6), Claude (3) and Edward (2).^[3]

Rachel M Jackson died in 1991. She was buried at Live Oak Cemetery, Paulding, Ohio, United States.^[4]
