Biography
Janet Luise Gehring found this man in the church books of Rüdlingen/Buchberg in the canton Schaffhausen. Most Gehrings come from these 2 towns. As this man has the same name as my great grandfather who did NOT marry this lady, I looked up. https://www.zurfernsicht.ch/tng/getperson.php?personID=I18214&tree=Mmrs You can see he was a teacher the the town of Schiers, GR, CH in 1861. The marriage to ALLEMANN Anna, b. 13 Jan 1822, Tschappina, GR, CH was recorded as Buchberg was still his HEIMAT (home town where all documents are registered. Their deaths are not recorded because Buchberg at some point was NO LONGER his HEIMAT address. The couple probably continued living in canton GR so some OTHER town would have become their HEIMAT city. Abraham Gehring ... [1]
