Biography

Mathew R Kennedy was enumerated as son of the head of household in Taylor city Ward 1-3, Williamson County, Texas for the June 1, United States Census, 1900. He was noted as at school, born February 1888 in Texas and single. Also included in the household are head Mathew R Kennedy, son Peder Kennedy and mother-in-law Martha E Bates as seen in an image of the original census.^[1]

Rankin Kennedy was enumerated as head of the household at Justice Precinct 6, Williamson County, Texas for the May 2, United States Census, 1910. He was noted as born 1887 in Texas and had been married one year. He was a farmer on a general farm and an owner as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Bettie Kennedy, son Rankin Kennedy and servant Dalla Gray.^[2]

Matthew Rankin Kennedy, III is buried at Taylor City Cemetery in Taylor, Williamson County, Texas, USA.^[3]
