Born at Hartford Hospital at 6:45 p.m.

Computer programmer. Employed by Travelers Insurance Company in Hartford,CT for many years. For most of his life he lived in West Hartford, CT but in 1991 he moved with his second wife to Windsor, CT. In 2005 they had a house built in Canton, CT where Bruce retired.

Bruce always enjoyed athletics; he won swimming and diving ribbons as a child, played football in high school, and played on basketball and soccer teams as an adult. He broke his leg playing soccer at around age 50 but kept on playing until he was 55. He was President of the West Hartford Soccer League during the years his daughters were playing soccer there.

No military service - he was classified 4F during the Vietnam War due to congenital amblyopia that left him blind in one eye.

He separated from Wendy in the fall of 1983 and divorced in April of 1986. The children lived with Bruce throughout their teenage years. He married Janice Marie Bouchard in 1990 after his youngest child had graduated from high school and the oldest had married.

Bruce and Jan enjoyed several years of good living in Canton, CT. They traveled alot, including a trip to Scotland where Bruce wore his kilt and attended the annual Military Tatoo in Edinburgh. Eventually Bruce retired. He had developed colon cancer which was discovered late in its progress. In spite of surgery and chemotherapy, the cancer spread and Bruce died of it at age 71. He is buried wearing in his kilt in Canton, Connecticut.
