Biography

Elizabeth Meldrum is the daughter of William Meldrum of that Ilk and a daughter of Earl of Sutherland.^[1], ^[2]

She married William Seton of Meldrum, son of Sir Alexander Seton and Elizabeth Gordon, in May 1452.^[1] Her married name became Seton.

Disputed Facts

There is one claim that they married much earlier and had a daughter Elizabeth about 1434, no sources have been found yet, but a marriage date in the month when he died, probably in his 40's does seem late.
