Biography

Alexander Greenlaw was born on March 19, 1760 in Deer Isle, Lincoln, Massachusetts Bay Colony (later known as Deer Isle, Hancock, Maine). He was the son of John Greenlaw (~1730– ).^{[citation needed]}

Intentions for Alexander to marry Lydea / Lydia Cox in Bristol, Lincoln, Maine, United States were published on January 29, 1789.^[1] Lydia was born on March 19, 1762 in Bristol, Lincoln, Maine. She was the daughter of Ebenezer Cox and Lydia (Woodbury) Cox). They may have actually married March 16, 1789 in Bristol. Lincoln Couty, Maine.^{[citation needed]}
