FARMER'S DEATH
POOWONG. - The funeral of Mr. William Hansford Ireland, aged 72 years, took place at the Poowong Cemetery on Wednesday. He had lived in the district for 18 years as a farmer and principal of W. H. Ireland and Sons, Melbourne Poowong Transport Service.
IRELAND - On the 4th July, 1939, at his residence, Glen Wallace, Poowong, William Hansford Ireland, beloved husband of Jennie and loving father of Ivey, Walter, Ernest, Bert, Eva and May (Mrs Paterson), aged 72 years -At rest
