Notes

Note NI1599poss William in Gelligear, Glamorgan or Joseph in Monmouth Both were
married to a Sarah and both had daughter named Annie, and both lived in
close proxminity to our Sarah's parents. William's marriage is to a Sarah
Ann so this is the best of the two, I think.
[Dec. 4, 1998] Went thhrough the marriages and births again today and did
nt ind n Annie or Anna born to a mother sarah in AF, IGI or LS Ordinances,
so where did I find this reference in the past?
We do not know if he died in Wales or came to the U.S. with Sarah and the
three children.
How did he die? Look for mining disasters in 1867-1869. Prob. died
before Sep. of 1869. Prob Sarah married John Reese by Sep. of 1869, as a
son Edward is shown on 1870 census with John and Sarah. I guess there is
the possibility that Edward was child of Davis. Need to find these
marriage and birth certificates.
