Biography

Susanna was the daughter of Peter Murphy and Bridget Lannen who came to Western Australia on the Emma Eugenia, arriving on 25 May 1858.^[1]

She married James Robertson on 7 June 1859 in York.^[2][1] They did not have any children. Susanna inherited a farm when James died.

James died in 1862 and Susanna went on to marry George Holdway on 20 November 1866 at York.^[1]

We regret to state that Mrs. Holdaway, mother of Mr. A. J. Holdaway and Mrs. O'Rourke, Wardering, and the oldest resident of the district, died on Wednesday.^[3]

Susannah is buried in the Narrogin Cemetery.^[4]
