Catherine (later Katherine) Conway Bridges was born in about 1841 at Westbury on Trym in Gloucestershire. [1]

In 1851 Catherine Bridges was living at Clifton near Bristol with her parents Henry and Clara, their other children, and her grandmother Susan Coulson. Her age was given as 11, implying a birth date in 1839 or 1840. Her birthplace was given as Westbury, Gloucestershire. [3]
In 1911 Katharine Conway Bridges, an unmarried woman, was living at 28 Leckford Road in Oxford with two domestic servants. Her age was given as 70, implying a birth date in 1840 or 1841. Her birthplace was given as Westbury on Trym, Gloucestershire. She was living on private means. [1]
