Roland G. Floch, 89, passed away on September 9, 2012 in Newberg, Oregon. Roland was born on August 13, 1923, to Christian and Vancha Floch. Born and raised in Newberg Oregon, Roland married Goldie Munroe on December 27th, 1952, in Portland, Oregon they settled in Newberg, and started their family. Roland was a navy vet that served in World War II from 1/4/1943 1/14/1946, after being discharged, worked for Tedrick construction, then worked for the City of Newberg; he retired in 10/12/1989 Roland is survived by sons Charles Floch of Newberg, Duane Floch and Richard Floch of McMinnville; daughter in laws Angela and Holly Floch of McMinnville; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Goldie, father Christian, mother Vancha, and daughter Lori Jean. No public memorial service to be held.
