Biography
Ellen Catherine Massy was born in 1837 in Camrose, Pembrokeshire, Wales to Edward Taylor Massy and Helen (Peel) Massy. Her birth was registered in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire in the last quarter of the year, with mother's maiden name Peel.[1]
She was christened on 21 Dec 1837 in Camrose.[2]
She married, firstly, Reverend Charles Henry Barham on 11 February 1863 in Prendergast.[3]
She married, secondly, Henry Hyde Nugent Bankes, son of Rt. Hon. George Bankes and Georgina Charlotte Nugent, on 20 November 1879.
She married, thirdly, Sir William Henry Marsham Style, 9th Bt., son of Captain William Style and Louisa Charlotte Marsham, on 2 June 1885.
"STYLE dame Ellen Catharine of the First House Crowborough Sussex widow died 1 September 1922 Probate London 5 October to Rodney Charles Style retired general H.M. Army and Jerome Nugent Bankes esquire. Effects £19972 4s. 2d."[4]
