Biography

Widowed by 1910 (1910 Census). Listed as Head of House in 1905 census. Listed as Amelia. Mother born in Ohio, father in Massachusetts.

Was called Minnie. Her grand daughter Nancy Kingston Forsyth remembered her saying her family was mostly wiped out by diphtheria (recorded by W.B. Forsyth around 2002 in his notes).

Buried in the Kingston plot 119 in Mount Hope Cemetery, Rochester, NY. Died at 900 Culver Road (Nursing Home), Rochester, Monroe, New York of Arteriosclerosis. R.D. Scobell handled the arrangements.

Living with Esther and Joseph Frisch (Carpenter) in 1875 &1880. In 1875 listed as Armenia Frisch in 1880 listed as Minnie Sprague.

Obituary: On Monday, June 3, 1957, Armenia Sprague, widow of George Whitfield Kingston, and mother of Esther K. Nottingham and the late Harold Motley Kingston. She is also survived by four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral service at the home of her daughter, 194 Grosvenor Road, Wednesday afternoon at the convenience of the family. Burial Mt. Hope Cemetrery. The courtesy of no flowers will be appreciated.
