Alma was born in 1878. He was the son of Rudolf Hochstrasser and Maria Lanz. By 1900, his father had remarried and the blended family was living in Providence town, Cache, Utah.[1]
In 1902, he went on a mission for the Mormons to Switzerland.[2]
He passed away in 1944.
