Biography

Born in Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire 12 April 1852. After her father Joel died in 1867, she moved to Somerville, Massachusetts with her mother Nancy, and was living in 1880 with her Uncle Nelson Howe's family.^[1] She married William Sadler Howe 12 Feb 1884. There is no known direct relationship between them, although they are both descended from PGM Howe settlers in colonial times. She was from the John Howe of Sudbury line and he was from the Abraham of Roxbury line.^[2][3] They lived in Somerville and had a son William Stuart Howe there. Her mother Nancy was living with them in 1910.^[4]
