Biography

Born in Warwick, Massachusetts 9 Aug 1801.^[1] He first married Sarah Ann Barnett 8 Aug 1829 in Sharon, Vermont^[2] and they had three children. She died in 1845 in Morrisville, New York. He married second in June 1849 in Kane County, Illinois Mrs. Jane (Barnett) Walker,^[3] widow of Levi Walker and sister of his first wife. She died in Red Wing, Minesota 23 Aug 1861. He married third 12 May 1866 Mrs. Helen Gertrude (Longstreet) Sexton, widow of Thomas P. Sexton, who was his son's wife's mother. She had been living with her daughter's family before she married her daughter's father-in-law.^[4] The combined families were living together in 1870.^[5] She died in Red Wing 31 Oct 1882. He died there 16 Jan 1889.^[6]
