Biography

Daniel, son of Daniel and Sarah (Hall) Wiswall, was born in Dorchester, Suffolk, Province of Massachusets Bay on 18 February 1754; He married Mary, daughter of Samuel and Margaret (Preston) How, in Dorchester, Suffolk, Massachusetts in December, 1785; Daniel married second Sarah daughter of Isaac and Mary (May) Davenport, her second, in Warwick, Hampshire, Massachusetts on 3 May 1806; Daniel died in Warwick, Franklin, Massachusetts, United States on 31 October 1824.

Daniel was the first born child of Daniel and Sarah (Hall) Wiswell. He married twice and had 5 children in Dorchester with 1st wife Mary How, and one child in Warwich, Massachusetts with 2nd wife Sarah Davenport.

• there is a 1819 Survivor's Pension Application File for Daniel Wiswall which brings into question the 1808 residency. Daniel died in 1824 and it seems his widow wouldn't qualify in 1819
• in 1810, Daniel was in an 8-person household, with an unnamed female under age 10, the mother is uncertain.
• Daniel was born Wiswall, he died Wiswell
