Biography
Born in Castine, Maine 3 May 1838. The family moved to Lincolnville, Maine when he was about 4, and he lived there the rest of his life. He married Ruby Amanda Gardner 20 Dec 18633. They had three daughters. He was a master mariner for many years and later retired from the sea and went into the sawmill business. He died 24 March 1905 in Lincolnville.[1][2]
