Biography

Stan Fisher was born in the Colony of South Australia (1836-1900)

Stanley Charles Fisher was born 4 May 1879 in Jamestown, South Australia. He was the son of Edward Peck Fisher and Mary Stephens. ^[1]

He married Wilhelmine Weidenhofer on 29 July 1909 at the residence of Mr Weidenhofer, Geranium, South Australia. ^[2]

Geranium is a settlement in the Murray Mallee region of South Australia near the Mallee Highway. At the 2006 census, Geranium had a population of 240. It was surveyed in 1910 as the town supporting a station on the Pinnaroo railway line. Wikipedia

He passed away age 85 on 12 January 1965 in hospital in Northfield, South Australia (his residence was in Port Elliott) ^[3] and was buried in Saint George's Cemetery, Magill. ^[4]
