Biography

Maurice Gardiner was born in Elizabethtown Township in 1905. He was the son of Stanley Gardiner and Minnie Orton. He married Ann Dunn. They moved to Kirkland Lake.

GANANOQUE (Staff) — Burial service will be held Wednesday for Mr. and Mrs. Maurice O Gardiner of Virginiatown who drowned Aug 9 at Larder Lake near Kirkland Lake. Funeral services were held Monday at Virginiatown United Church. Burial will be made Wednesday in Brockville cemetery. Mr. Gardiner 56 and his wife the former Ann Dunn were both natives of the Brockville area He is survived by a sister Mrs Leland (Mildred) Earle of Gananoque and a brother Alvin of Lyn, Ontario. Mrs. Gardiner 61 is survived by four sisters and two brothers.^[1]
