Biography

Abram was born about 1770. He may have been born in Germany. Said to have first come to Monmouth, New Jersey where he married "Antena Vandling". Children listed as Sarah (who married John Voris), Ann (who married Nicholas Shires), Adam, William, John, Margaret (spinster), Abraham, and Elizabeth (married Thomas Courson). At least some of the children were born in New Jersey.

Abram Hendrickson appears in the 1810 census of Chillisquaque, Northumberland, Pennsylvania. Family included a man and woman both age range 25-45, plus eight children. Two boys and two girls under ten y.o. two boys and two girls 10-16 y.o. Note that Abram's father was said to have died in Chillisquaque four years prior.
