BUT I've finally found, linked and properly cited works aside fromjust the peerage etc to show a succession and how the Adair family name even began! (I'll try to edit out some of the specifics from the original profile I posted this to and will changethe direct links for relevancy to this content)
I've been trying to locate these profiles as I know there are duplicates etc but since I finally found the paperback copy of the original 1924 work along with finding the 1924 work to confirm preserved accuracy and to cite according to the original details- I could write a correct citation for the original "Adair History and Genealogy" which has been previously cited and put on to microfilm (microfiche??) by FamilySearch and Google but all are dated 1974/6 and accredited to the Utah Genealogical Society. The first hardback from which many people sell paperback "print on demand books" (if you didn't know about this I didn't really either) began with this original work "edited compiled and published by" John Barnett Adair in L. Angeles, CA during 1924. Here is a link to the exact page where it is also now fully in print from Stanford University (I should've double checked but am trying to memorize so much for this single comment):
