Biography

Daughter of Thomas B. Jones (b. June 26, 1792) and Nancy (born Sept. 23, 1794 died Dec. 5, 1876)

Sarah was born in New Jersey in 1814. She married Hamilton Mills of Warren County, Ohio, in 1931. Their first two children, Nancy and Daniel, were born while they still lived in Ohio. They moved to Carroll County, Indiana, about 1837, where Hamilton worked as a carpenter. Five more daughters were born in Indiana -- Eunice, Mary, Sarah, Elizabeth, and Henrietta.
