Mildred was born in 1929. She is the daughter of William Johnson and Velzie Bryant. She passed away in 2004.

Mildred O'Steen of Old Town died Tuesday at Shands at AGH in Gainesville. She was 76.

Mrs. O'Steen was born in DeRosset, Tenn., and moved to Old Town from Suwannee eight years ago. She was a homemaker.

She was a member of Calvary Temple Assembly of God in Cross City, and enjoyed gardening and fishing.

Survivors include nieces Glenda Pole of Bell, Shirley Moore of Fanning Springs, Teresa Ussery of Palatka, Sandra Driggers of Green Cove Springs, Anita Estever of Gainesville and Vicki O'Steen of Jacksonville; and nephews W.D. O'Steen and Riley Junior O'Steen, both of Chiefland, and Franklin O'Steen Sr. of Otter Creek.
