The William Alexander who contracted with the Ironmongers' Company to lease Lizard Manor estate, co. Londonderry, at a fine of 21,200 pounds and 600 pounds p.a. likely is this William Alexander. Being unable to proceed with the deal, Josias Du Pre took over his position.
