As a result of her marriage to Thomas Dugdale, Nancy Tennant was styled as Baroness Crathorne on 15 July 1959. She was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1961.
Some of Nancy's paintings still hang in Crathorne Hall[1].
Note
She was the most comely of the three, witty charming and a talented painter. She met Thomas Dugdale when he was Walter Elliot's Best Man at her sisters wedding and they married two years later in 1936.
