Raas Grez was a member of the aristocracy in Europe.
Biography
The feudal register of Brabant lists "Raes van Graven, zoon van wijlen Bauchons van Graven" as fiefholder of goods in Wolfshagen/Erps. The next fiefholder was Isabella, daughter of Boudewijn of Glymes, but no relation between her and Raas is indicated.[1] Presumably she was his sister, but that doesn't fit well with Raas having sons.
On 25 Jun 1424 Gerard van Linter did relief for the lordship of Neerlinter after the death of his father Raas van Rivieren, lord of Neerlinter.[2] On 9 Jun 1425 Raas van Linter did relief for the lordship and castle of Grez after the death of his father Raas van Rivieren, lord of Neerlinter.[3]
