Laura Emma Webster was born on 15 April 1807 at Bloomfield, Connecticut, the daughter of Ashbel Webster and Esther Bissell. She married Isaac P Carrier on 10 Oct 1827.[1]
Isaac P. Carrier and his wife Emma were admitted to the South Glastonbury Congregational Church on 3 March 1839, by letter from the East Church in Avon, and they were dismissed on 28 March 1862 to Summerville, Jefferson, Pennsylvania.[2][3]

In 1850, Isaac P. Carrier, a 47 year old joiner, lived in Glastonbury, Hartford, Connecticut, with his wife Emma L. and 3 children: David B., 8; Emma I/J., 5; and Albert, 2. All were born in Connecticut.[4]
In 1860, Emma was living in Suffield, Hartford, Connecticut, with her son John, his family, and other of her children. Isaac is not present in the household.[5]
