Biography
John Chenery (or Chinery, Ginere, Genere) was born in England to Lambert Chenery and his unknown first wife who were married about 1632. His father removed from Watertown to Dedham as early as 1635.[1] John presumably came over to New England before 1635 with his father and his brother Isaac. Birth date is a rough estimate. No record found as yet to support that, but absence of any birth record in Massachusetts Bay supports his being born in England. Further research welcomed.
