Biography

Lois Hoyt was born at Amesbury, MA on Oct. 23, 1751, daughter of Timothy Jr and Lois (Flanders) Hoyt.^[1][2]

She married Mathias Heath of NH. Their intentions were published at Amesbury on Jan. 13, 1776.^[1] Mathias was born July 25, 1751 at Newton, Rockingham, NH , the son of Sargent and Judith (Hoyt) Heath.^[3]

Lois died on Jun. 9, 1822 at Henniker, NH.^[3]

Mathias died there on Jan. 29, 1832. They are buried in the Old Cemetery, Henniker, NH with other family members.^[4] The Inscription reads:

Mathias Heath died Jan. 29, 1832 AE 80 years

Louis, wife of Matthias Heath died June 9, 1822 AE 70

Hannah Heath died March 20, 1822 AE 44

Sargent Heath died Dec. 10, 1814 AE 28
