Obit: Mary C. Satterwhite, age 89, entered eternal life Friday, August 10, 2007 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. She was born July 31, 1918 to Faye and Carrie Crow of Wagoner, Oklahoma. A life long resident of Wagoner, she graduated from Wagoner High School and attended Tulsa Business College. She worked in Wagoner as a legal secretary and served as Deputy Court Clerk for many years. She also worked as a legal secretary for Bonds, Matthews, and Bonds in Muskogee retiring in 1983. She married her high school sweetheart, John Randall Satterwhite on December 2, 1939. They had been married sixty-one years when Randall preceded Mary in death. Together, Mary and Randall had a small cattle operation and also owned and operated the Wardrobe Cleaners in Wagoner. She is survived by her two children; Dr. John Allen Satterwhite and his wife, Renee, of Phillips, Wisconsin, her daughter, Sylvia Smith and her husband, Bob, of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; her sister, Cherry Odom of Wagoner, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Jay Satterwhite, J. C. Satterwhite, Josh Satterwhite and Kirk Jones; one great grandchild, Jonathan Randall Jones, several nieces, nephews and other extended family. Services will be Thursday, August 16, 2007, at 10:00 A.M. at the Hersman-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel in Wagoner, Oklahoma. A private family interment will follow in Pioneer Cemetery.
