Ella Abeyta, age 94, was born in Franklin, LA to Armand and May Theriot and passed away on June 20, 2014 with her family at her side. Ella was preceded in death by her parents, two infant brothers, her brother, Murphy, nephew, Jimmy and her husband, Charlie Abeyta. For many years Ella was a small business owner in the home decorating field. Ella and her first husband, Edward W. Holleman, owned a home decorating and upholstery business in the late 1940s in Albuquerque. Ella became employed by Fedway as gifts and china salesperson, eventually managing the department. Ella worked in this line of endeavor until she was 63. During those years she also raised three daughters, Patricia M. Cunion, Jo Ann and her husband, Pete Ezell and Debra and her husband, Ken Kugler. Ella has six grandchildren, Joanna, Mark, Bob and his wife, Monika, Sherri, DeAnne and her husband, Johnny and Karee and seven great-grandchildren, William, Katherine, Zakarie, Alex, Xavier, Abriana and Danika. Ella is survived by brother, Isaac Theriot and his sons, Michael, Tommy and Randy, brother Murphy's children, Donny and Denise. Memorial service will be on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. at French – Lomas Chapel. Private interment will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
