Catherine Tollemache was the daughter of Lionel Tollemache, 3rd Earl of Dysart and Grace Wilbraham.1 She married John Brydges, Marquess of Carnarvon, son of James Brydges, 1st Duke of Chandos and Mary Lake, on 1 September 1724.1 She died on 17 January 1754 at Grosvenor Square, London, England.1 She was buried on 31 January 1754 at Whitchurch, London, England.1 She died intestate and her estate was administered to her two daughters on 4 February 1754.1 From 1 September 1724, her married name became Brydges.1
