Biography

Sophia Fredericka Fischer was born January 8, 1875 in New York, New York, to Philip Fischer and Mary (Hepp) Fischer.

She and Herbert Clifford Allen were married October 8, 1897 in Stoughton, Norfolk County, Massachusetts. The couple had seven children between 1899 and 1917.

Sophia died April 27, 1937 in Lynchburg, Campbell County, Virginia of influenza. She is buried at Spring Hill Cemetery in Lynchburg, Virginia.
