Biography

Sarah Hancock, the daughter of William George Hancock and Nancy (Firth) Hancock, was born on 13 October 1874 in Chewton, Victoria.^[1]

She married Edward Girdlestone in 1898 in Midland Junction in Western Australia.^[2] They had at least three children.^[3]

Sarah Girdlestone died on 22 September 1920 in East Melbourne, Victoria, aged 46.^[4] She was buried on 24 September 1920 in Springvale Botanical Cemetery.^[5]
