Biography
Alvira (sp. Elvira) Wrisley Maxfield Rand was born 31 August 1796 the daughter of Caleb Wrisley and Dorcas Dickinson in Gill, Franklin, Massachusetts.
She married Ezekiel Maxfield (1792-1820) 12 January 1814. They had a daughter Mary (1814-1893).
Alvira second married Joshua Wing Rand (b. 29 October 1799) 8 April 1820, and they had:
- Horace Wing b. 24 September 1820
- William Henry 13 February 1823 -1886 m. Lucy Minora Forbes
- Emily R b. 2 February 1825
- Julian Sam 12 January 1827- 26 April 1896 - m. Mary Maria Sheldon
She died after 1833.
Joshua had remarried by 1837 to Eliza Adkins, and had a daughter Olive.
