Son of Thomas McDougall and Annie Ford.^[1]

Joseph S. McDougall was living with his widowed mother Annie in 1920, ^[2] and with Thomas and Annie in 1910.^[3]

Joseph McDougall and Ruth Abell were married in 1920 in Stonington.^[4]

On the 1930 US Census, Joseph said he emigrated in 1894, and that he married for the first time about 10 years earlier.
