Biography

Mary Fanshawe was a daughter of Henry Fanshawe and Elizabeth Smythe.[1][2] Her year of birth is unknown.

She was recorded in the will of her father, the will dated 13 Nov 1613.[3]

She married William Newce of Much Hadham, Hertfordshire.[1][4][5] The marriage took place one month after the death of her father in 1616.[2]

Mary was a beneficiary of the will of her mother Elizabeth Fanshawe, her will made on 20 Feb 1629 and proved on 02 Jun 1631. Also recorded were her husband William Newce and their children Thomas, William, Henry and Clement.[6]
