Biography
Thomas was born in 1756. He is the son of Nathaniel Jones (b. 1733) of Brookfield and Mary Deland.
In 1766, Obadiah Deland of Brookfield was appointed guardian to Thomas, aged about ten years.[1]
Thomas enlisted April 1775 for a 9 month term as a Private in Captain Harwood's Company, Colonel Learned's Regiment, Massachusetts Line
Thomas enlisted again in June 1776 for a 1 year term in Captain Danforth's Company, Colones Shepard's Regiment, Massachusetts Line.
