Biography

When Theophilus Bland Sr was born on 14 April 1768, in Pitt, North Carolina, United States, his father, George Bland Sr, was 43 and his mother, Prudence Tison, was 24. He married Sarah Joiner in May 1792, in Pitt, North Carolina, United States. They were the parents of at least 8 sons and 7 daughters. He died on 4 July 1832, in Shelby, Tennessee, United States, at the age of 64, and was buried in Shelby, Tennessee, United States. ^[1]
