Biography
The taxation record for Hamrånge 1726 is the last time we find Jöns Zachrisson as head of household in Axmar by #4.[1] The next year his son Olof Jönsson has taken his place.
Tolvman (twelveman) Jöns Zachrisson passed away January 30, 1744, at the age of 82 years and five months.[2]
Research note
Jöns Zachrisson had been married twice - his first wife (Apollonia Olofsdotter) died in 1705. His second wife (Anna Larsdotter) was a widow when they married. She was buried 10 January 1725 at an age of 53 years, 3 months. She had been married twice and had seven children. [3] Anna Larsdotter is present in the first cahtechism examination records, started in 1722.[4]
