Seldon Stanley Brown was born on March 10, 1906 in Summerfield, Wicklow, Carleton, New Brunswick, Canada, son of John Wilmont F Brown (1880–1916) and Villa M. Smith (1883–1906).
Seldon had a brother, Kenneth Donald Brown (1916–2000).
Seldon (19) married Beatrice Lavine Swears (15) (born on October 4, 1909 in Orrington, Penobscot, Maine, United States; daughter of William E. Swears and Adelaide C. (Stairs) Swears) on March 14, 1925 in Clinton, Kennebec, Maine.
Seldon (36) married Alta Hazel Mean (19) (born on March 22, 1923 in Hartland, Carleton; daughter of Charles Edmund Mean and Adeline Lucy (Hatfield) Mean) on August 27, 1942 in Andover, Victoria, New Brunswick.
Seldon died in 1987 in Summerfield, aged 80. He was buried in St. Paul's United Church Cemetery, Centreville, Carleton County, New Brunswick.[1]
