Janet Ogilvy was the daughter of Thomas Ogilvy of Westercraig and Janet Fraser.[1]
In 1572 Janet married a James Anderson, maltman and burgess of Perth. [2] She was heir to her father Thomas in 1577 and had liferent of Wester Craigs.
Her half brother John raised an action for her depredations of the lands of Wester Craig of Glenisla on 22 Mar 1578. [3]
At Perth on 9 Jan 1580/81 in an action regarding a bond of the deceased Thomas Ogilvy of Craigs, Janet renounced all claim she may have as heir of her deceased father. [4]
