Not a particulary happy marriage & they separated within the 1st 6 months.

Margery applied for a divorce that became absolute 18.08.1946.

She altered her given name & continued to be known as Mrs Marjorie Chandler citing on a government census form as being widowed after Geoffrey died in 1974, which this author found unusual considering that they had only lived as a married couple for 6 months & Geoffrey remarried in Nov 1946.
