Biography
George, son of John and Sarah (Bonham) Bryant, was born at Plymouth, MA on October 3, 1693.
Children born to George & Sarah (Ripley) Bryant in Plympton, Mass:
- Ephraim Bryant, b. April 12, 1726 [1]
George is buried at Hillcrest Cemetery, Plympton, Plymouth, MA (his daughter Mary's F.A.G. memorial lists her father as Capt. George Bryant).
Probate
George Bryant of Plymton, gentleman, died intestate and on 1 November 1779, John Bryant of Plymton was granted the administration of his estate.[2]
His inventory was taken on 28 February 1780 in Plympton. His estate was set out to his children, John Bryant (eldest son), Lydia Bonney, widow of Nathaniel Bonney, Ephraim Bryant, Sarah Tomson, wife of Reuben Tomson, Joanna Bryant, Susanna Ryder, widow of John Ryder, the heirs of George Bryant, Jr., decd., the heirs of Seth Bryant, decd., and Mary Bryant.[3]
In 1780, an account of his estate by John Bryant was recorded which included debts paid, building a corn barn, and administration fees.[4]
