Biography

Elizabeth Sherman was born about 1651, daughter of John Sherman and his second wife Mary Launce. ^[1]

She married Samuel Gaskall/Gaskell then of Charlestown at Sudbury, Massachusetts on on July 20, 1687. ^[2]Samuel, son of Samuel was born about 1650. ^[1]

• 1703: April 2: Elizabeth's brother James Sherman and her widowed mother Mary sold Samuel Gaskell about 20 acres of orchard and arable land, that had belonged to her father John Sherman, for L221. ^[1]

Samuel died at New Haven, Connecticut on December 22, 1706, ae. 56. ^{[1] [3]}

Widow Elizabeth died on November 11, 1736, aged about 85 years. ^{[1] [3]}
