Samuel Scott Smith was born in 1861.
Scott died on 22 Jan 1930, aged 68.[1] He was buried in McDowell Cemetery, Clymer, Pennsylvania.
Scott married Mary Jane (Jones) Smith (born in 1860 in Pennsylvania, United States; daughter of Evan D. Jones and Sarah D. (Williams) Jones). Their known daughter was Edith Ruth (Smith) Kinnan (1892–1920).
Obituary
Samuel Scott Smith, aged 69 years, died on Wednesday (22 Jan 1930) at his home in Green township. The funeral services were conducted at the home on Saturday, followed by interment in the McDowell cemetery in Green township. His wife died a number of years ago and the surviving children are Mrs. Harry B. Miller, of town; Gomer Smith, of Johnstown; Shirley Smith, of Alverda; and Mrs. N, Miller, of South Dakota.
