There is no evidence to support that Mary ever existed or that she married Amos Donham or had a son
There are 41 ancestry.com cites that name Mary McCaslin as the wife of Amos ad mother of Lewis. There are no original, secondary, or other tertiary sources that have a Mary McCaslin, wife of Amos, mother of Lewis, except ancestry.com I have poured over Google looking for references in books. One of those 41 trees was the first to cite Mary McCaslin and maybe they used a home-grown resource, but didn't cite it. Susan Fitzmaurice
