Biography
Annie (Pybus) Bell-Irving was born in Essex, England.
Annie Hilda Pybus was born in Woodford, Essex on 23 May 1891, and her birth was registered in West Ham, Essex in the second quarter of 1891[1]. She was the daughter of Henry Pybus and Florence Mary Falconer.
At the time of the 1911 Canada Census, Henry, Florence M, Annie H. (mistranscribed as "Annie A"), and May E. Pybus (mistranscribed as "Pybun") were listed as living at 1360 Jervis Street, Vancouver, along with a servant[2].
Annie married Henry Bell-Irving in Vancouver, British Columbia on April 25, 1912[3].
At the time of the 1921 Canada Census, Henry Beattie, Ann Hilda, Henry Pybus, Ruth, Mary Marbean, Wendy, and Roderick Keith Faulkner Bell-Irving were listed as living at 1913 Haro Street in Vancouver, along with two servants[4].
Annie died in Vancouver on April 15, 1977[5], and her remains were cremated at the Vancouver Crematorium[6].
