Biography

George Pollock of Auldhouse was the eldest son of John Maxwell of Auldhouse and Elizabeth Stewart.^[1][2] In his lifetime he also became the 14th of Pollok on the death of John Maxwell of Pollok.^[1]

He married Annabella Stewart, daughter of Archibald Stewart of Blackhall in 1646.^[1] They had the three sons and three daughters:

1. John, successor to Pollok^[1][2]
2. William^[1]
3. George^[1]
4. Marian, first married James Stewart of Rosyth, secondly married Sir Charles Murray of Dreghorn, Baronet^[1]
5. Margaret^[1]
6. Anabella Cathcart Pollok.^[1]
